Many associate the rømmegrøt with festivals such as Christmas and May 17th, but it is also very good on a usual Saturday. Serve with salty meat.
1. Mix the powder with 7 dl cold water and 1 cup (3 dl) high fat sour cream or light sour cream. Use whisk.
2. Boil while stirring and simmer the porridge approx. 7 minutes.
NB! It is very important that one is stirring all the time before the porridge boils up, and the first time after boiling.
If you want a fresher cream, replace 1 dl of water with 1 dl of milk. Server with sugar, cinnamon and butterflies.
